Mr. Granderson has practiced for years as a real estate attorney representing Fortune 500 clients in commercial real estate transactions that collectively exceed $1 Billion.  He has worked as a consultant to large financial firms in connection with the underwriting of development projects including shopping centers, hotels and high-rise condo projects. He also has extensive experience as a developer and investor in estate quality homes in Southern California and multi-family properties throughout the United States.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

During his tenure at the law firm Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, he structured entities and drafted loan documents for multi-million dollar real estate transactions including The Capital Company of America financing of the $250,000,000 acquisition of Fox Plaza in Century City and the Morgan Stanley $240,000,000 financing of a cross collateralized asset package including real estate located in California and Washington.

Mr. Granderson was one of three lawyers hired to implement the $4 billion LAUSD Strategic Execution Plan to acquire the land and negotiate the leases for 80 new K-12 schools and 79 school addition projects.

He has founded and managed several real estate investment and financing firms focused primarily on the acquisition and management of apartment buildings and manufactured housing communities. Currently, he runs a real estate fund that owns and operates 28 mobile home communities in the Midwest with over 4000 sites worth in excess of $150,000,000.  He also owns a property management company and a construction company.
